LEOLAND

The primary task was to create a multifunctional sports and entertainment center that combined education and entertainment for children, as well as conveniences for adults. It was necessary to integrate modern elements into a historical building and provide comfortable conditions for different age groups. The project was to include educational stations, sports areas, a food zone, and an event hall capable of accommodating a large number of visitors.

The concept of Leoland is based on the principle of "edutainment," combining education and entertainment. The idea of the project was inspired by the need to create a space where children can explore, experiment, and learn through active play. Leoland reflects the spirit of modern Lviv, integrating the city's historical heritage with innovative architectural solutions. Special attention was paid to preserving and reinterpreting the architectural elements of the former sports complex "Ukraine."

The 30,000 square meter Leoland complex includes various zones for active recreation and development. The center houses 7 educational stations for children, where they can engage in science, sports, and creativity. For adults, there is a premium fitness club, tennis courts, a swimming pool, and a SPA area. The food zone of the complex offers a wide selection of dishes for the whole family, and the event hall, with a capacity of 600 people, is a unique space for hosting sports events, festivals, and conferences.

During the implementation of the project, the martins team faced challenges in preserving the historical elements of the building and integrating them into the modern design. The large arch, which became the central element of the facade, was preserved. The materials used, such as metal and reinforced concrete structures, ensured the durability and aesthetic appeal of the building. Spacious rooms with large windows provide natural lighting and a connection with the surrounding environment. The tennis courts were created according to the standards of the International Tennis Federation, highlighting the high level of the complex's sports infrastructure. Leoland has become a symbol of a modern approach to education and entertainment, providing Lviv residents with a place for active development and family recreation.
