The "Plut Type 1" project is a modern residential development located in the Kyiv region of Ukraine. The design emphasizes open-plan layouts to maximize natural light and create a seamless flow between indoor and outdoor areas. High-quality materials and minimalist aesthetics are thoughtfully employed to ensure both elegance, functionality, and long-lasting durability.
Incorporating energy-efficient systems and sustainable building practices, the "Plut Type 1" project reflects a commitment to environmental responsibility. Interior spaces are thoughtfully planned to ensure comfort and versatility, catering to the diverse needs of contemporary living. This project exemplifies Martins Studio's dedication to creating innovative residential designs that balance form and function.
Several interesting challenges were addressed during the project's implementation. Notably, creating a stone staircase with greenery required a special approach to lighting, involving the use of plant-friendly lamps in poorly lit areas. Solutions were also found to combine soft shades of furniture, walls, and floors, making the interior more welcoming and warm. Despite different design solutions in each room, the interior turned out to be cohesive and consistent.
High-quality natural materials were used to implement the project. Key material brands included Ferm Living, which supplied Rico rounded chairs and Insert coffee tables, and LUCEPLAN with the Stochastic pendant light. The first-floor walls were decorated with veneered panels in walnut texture, which was also used for the kitchen and island fronts. Stone countertops for the kitchen and island became unifying design elements.
