The interior of this country house was designed for a couple who, having raised children, wanted to live for their pleasure, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The clients wanted to see unconventional classicism, and the American version suited them perfectly. Respectability and deep aristocracy combined with eclecticism and functionality are the main features of this style. The American classic appealed to the clients who dreamed of a family nest—a place for comfortable, measured living and enjoyable family time.
The neatness and intelligence of the style were emphasized by the correct color palette—noble shades of blue, brown, cream, and white. The heart of the house became the living room, located on the ground floor. In the lounge area by the fireplace, you can comfortably settle in for long conversations. The warm atmosphere is further enhanced by the flooring made of natural wood. The kitchen area is highly practical, yet not devoid of pleasant details. The graphic stained glass on the ceiling sets the mood, while the glossy facades and shiny marble on the floor visually enlarge the space. By the way, for the same purpose, large windows were installed throughout the house, some from floor to ceiling. Thanks to this technique, the house filled with light and appeared even more spacious.
On the second floor of the house, you can access through an exquisite staircase, designed in the classic American style. Climbing up, we discover the master and guest bedrooms. In one of them, a window seat was arranged—a cozy area with a small sofa by the window, traditional for American mansions. In another bedroom, a spacious wardrobe was equipped, hidden behind neat sliding doors with frosted glass.
The color scheme of the bedrooms—deep blues and chocolate shades, warm grays, and crisp whites—contributes to quality relaxation, while the parquet made of natural wood adds extra coziness and strengthens the connection with nature. In addition to the interior of the house, the studio designers also worked on the bath complex and the indoor pool.
