Our client is a successful family consisting of a married couple with two children, both of whom are business owners in the information technology sector. They lead an active lifestyle and value comfort, functionality, and aesthetics in all aspects of their living environment. Their home needed to be a place for relaxation after busy workdays, a space for spending quality time with their children, and hosting guests. It was important for them to create a space that reflects their modern approach to life and incorporates innovative design solutions. Our task was to design a country house that would seamlessly blend into the picturesque landscape of the village of Lisnyky. The main requirements included creating a spacious, bright, and functional living space with an emphasis on natural materials and modern technologies. The client wanted a house with large windows to enjoy the views and an infinity pool for maximum relaxation. Ensuring privacy, comfort, and meeting the client's aesthetic preferences were also crucial.
The project was inspired by the desire to integrate modern living with the natural surroundings. We chose the contemporary style, which allowed us to combine simple forms with luxurious materials. The house was placed at the highest point of the plot to maximize the views of the hills. The concept included a minimalist design with a cantilevered second floor, creating an effect of lightness and space. The primary goal was to create a home that is not only visually striking but also comfortable and functional for living.

The project planning included a two-level atrium living room that opens up to the picturesque views of Lisnyky’s hills. The main rooms were arranged to ensure maximum comfort and efficient use of space. The ground floor features a large living room, a kitchen-diner, a guest room, and a home office. The second floor houses the master bedroom with terrace access, children's rooms, and bathrooms. The relaxation areas with an infinity pool on the terrace offer an unparalleled view, thanks to the pool's glass edge.
Designing and constructing this house involved overcoming the challenge of building on a slope with a significant height difference. This required innovative architectural solutions to ensure stability and safety. The cantilevered second floor and the two-level atrium became not only aesthetic but also functional elements. We used ceramic blocks for the walls, aluminum windows, and a standing seam roof, ensuring the house's energy efficiency and durability. The façade was clad in thermo-wood siding, adding natural warmth and blending the house seamlessly into its surroundings. High-quality materials from leading brands were used in the project. Ceramic blocks for the walls provide strength and energy efficiency. Aluminum windows from Aluplast ensure reliability and excellent thermal insulation. The standing seam roof from Ruukki offers a modern look and long-lasting weather protection. The thermo-wood siding from Woodline gives the house a natural appearance, harmoniously blending with the surrounding landscape. All materials were selected to meet the highest quality standards, ensuring the house's durability and aesthetic appeal. This project demonstrates how contemporary design can create an inspiring and comfortable living space, combining functionality, aesthetics, and innovation.
