The Villa M-Rock project draws inspiration from the solar vibrations of Indonesia, combined with the unique features of this locality. Despite the densely populated nature of the area and the limited plot size, we managed to design two cozy open-air courtyards. One is a small courtyard accessible from the bedroom, while the other features a pool and relaxation area.
In the interior design, we seamlessly blend modern furniture with traditional natural materials indigenous to the island. For instance, natural stone cladding on the walls, ceilings with exposed beams and bamboo lattice, a sink carved from a solid boulder, and a bamboo lamp. The color palette of beige, creamy, and light brown exudes tranquility and comfort.

One of the most intriguing challenges in the #martins_villarock project was to incorporate all aspects of family life into a small space while maintaining a sense of openness and harmony with the surroundings. Thus, we added a large panoramic window with sliding doors, allowing the living space to merge with the inner courtyard.
Now, guests of the apartment hotel can enjoy the convenience of the space while feeling comfortable in harmony with the island's beauty. Seamlessly integrating space into the natural environment—could there be a better example of intelligent design?
