HUTIR Island

The HUTIR Island project has become a psychological rehabilitation center for PTSD. HUTIR is a social and charitable initiative that adapts and transforms according to people’s needs. Originally intended to provide temporary housing for displaced people during the full-scale invasion, the project secured a plot of land in the serene natural surroundings of Bucha. The founders of the hutir.space project, part of the Hutir Charitable Foundation, along with their team, have repurposed it to serve as a rehabilitation center.

The architectural design of the settlement includes common areas and futuristic-looking houses with meticulously planned interiors. These dome-shaped houses were influenced by several factors: the ideal physics of a sphere, the use of lightweight materials to minimize foundation needs, and the mobility to assemble or dismantle buildings within a day. The absence of "wet" processes reduces costs and shortens the construction period, making the project both innovative and efficient.

The interior design prioritizes privacy, functionality, and comfort. Each house accommodates 3-4 people and includes essential features such as a kitchen, storage room, dining area, workspace, and bathroom. Climate control, underfloor heating, and boilers ensure a comfortable living environment, creating a cozy space for treatment and recovery.

HUTIR Island will also feature co-working spaces, a food court, recreational and sports areas, and a childcare center. These modern, well-thought-out facilities will provide the necessary conditions for residents to support their cultural and moral well-being. Currently, the project is in the stage of seeking investments for construction and implementation. The realization of this project will significantly contribute to the restoration of both physical and psychological well-being for those affected by PTSD.
