The Carpathians are a majestic and unique region in Western Ukraine. These places have an ancient history, a rich culture, and magnificent nature. Therefore, it is no surprise that a stream of tourists heads there for relaxation and unforgettable experiences.
Modern travelers prefer comfort, prestige, and uniqueness. Our company received an order to build a resort complex in Yablunytsia that had to meet these demands. The M-REAT project, implemented by Martins in the heart of the Carpathians, has become a model of combining an innovative approach with harmony in nature.
The company set ambitious goals: to create a unique tourist complex that meets the high standards of the modern traveler. As a result, the client received:
• Comfort: Spacious and cozy apartments that provide privacy and relaxation.
• Aesthetics: A design that highlights the beauty of the Carpathians and creates a warm atmosphere.
• Sustainability: Minimal environmental impact and seamless integration into the landscape.
• Diverse infrastructure: Spaces for leisure, sports, and relaxation.
The design of the complex began with a thorough study of the landscape. Yablunytsia is a small village located at an altitude of over 900 meters above sea level. It is surrounded by lush coniferous forests and majestic mountains. The unique terrain of the Carpathians became a key element in shaping the architecture of the complex.
In the design process, we prioritized sustainability. To minimize environmental impact, all buildings were constructed using natural materials, and only electric vehicles are used for transportation within the complex.
The complex we have created includes 48 bungalows of various sizes and 18 apartments. Each bungalow and apartment is designed to make the most of the natural surroundings. The landscape design maintains a balance between nature and architecture, allowing guests to enjoy breathtaking mountain views.
This image showcases one of the architectural solutions of the M-REAT project concept in Yablunytsia. The photo features modern bungalows designed in a minimalist style, along with the main building of the complex, which rises above the hilly landscape.
Each structure is equipped with large panoramic windows, allowing guests to enjoy the surrounding nature without leaving the comfort of their accommodations. The unique shape of the buildings, with sloping roofs, seamlessly blends into the overall style of the complex and highlights its contemporary aesthetic.
The facades are made of wood, which not only meets environmental standards but also visually blends with the surrounding landscape. The buildings are positioned to minimize disruption to the natural terrain. This image is a great example of how the M-REAT project embodies its concept of harmony between humans and nature.
In the photos below, you can see our modern fitness center for active recreation, a restaurant with a terrace where you can enjoy local cuisine while admiring the views of the Carpathians, and other architectural and design solutions.
This interior embodies the harmony of nature and modern design. Panoramic windows fill the space with natural light, creating a sense of unity with the surrounding mountains. Warm wooden textures on the walls and ceiling add coziness, while minimalist furniture with soft forms enhances comfort. The space seamlessly transitions from the relaxation area to an open terrace, where one can enjoy the fresh mountain air and breathtaking views.
We have achieved the goal of convenience, aesthetics, and sustainability. Attention to detail, stunning architecture, and modern design have come together to create an unforgettable retreat, a place you’ll want to return to again and again
The M-REAT project has become the embodiment of a dream about a modern resort that not only offers maximum comfort but also preserves nature. We are proud to have created a space where tourists can enjoy the beauty of the Carpathians, gain unforgettable experiences, and rejuvenate.
This project highlights the values of Martins – combining innovation, comfort, and respect for nature in every endeavor. M-REAT is an example of what the tourism of the future should be.
