One of the event’s highlights was a presentation by Ihor Martin, founder of Martins Studio, who showcased the successful case of Virgin Beach Hotel in Bali. This project demonstrates how thoughtful architecture and design contribute not only to visual aesthetics but also significantly enhance investment appeal and long-term profitability.
In his speech, Ihor Martin shared the concept behind the resort — from an in-depth site analysis to a culturally rich design inspired by the mythical figure of Garuda, symbolizing protection and harmony. The resort’s iconic roof, shaped like Garuda’s wings and built using eco-friendly materials, blends traditional Balinese elements with contemporary solutions, making it attractive for both tourists and international investors.
He also emphasized the role of BIM technologies, which streamlined every stage of the project — from digital modeling to construction management. The Virgin Beach Hotel case clearly illustrates how the integration of architectural expertise, innovation, and design strategy leads to tangible economic benefits and strong investor interest.
By participating in such a large-scale and influential event, Martins Studio reaffirmed its position as a studio that creates unique, impactful, and commercially successful architectural projects.
