On April 2, 2025, our founder Ihor Martin took part as a guest lecturer at the REBS and MIB educational intensive, dedicated to the topic:
“Low-Rise Construction: Specifics of Urban and Suburban Real Estate Development.”

We’re proud to have contributed not just with a presentation, but by becoming an active part of the learning process — sharing our knowledge with future developers, architects, and urbanists through a full-length lecture based on real project experience.

During the session, we covered:

- current global and local trends in low-rise construction;

- the evolution of cottage communities with shared social spaces;

- eco-friendly and energy-efficient solutions for modern living;

- the challenges of urban sprawl and the need for smart land planning;

- our implemented projects — from modular homes to day centers for Save Ukraine.

We also placed special emphasis on the architectural challenges of wartime — including the urgent demand for autonomy, mobility, and rapid-build solutions, which we are already integrating into our ongoing work. Additionally, we shared our perspective on how Ukraine’s architecture could evolve after victory — balancing between pessimistic and optimistic development scenarios.

At Martins Studio, we believe that architecture is not only about aesthetics, but about purpose and impact. That’s why we actively participate in educational initiatives — helping shape the future of the industry today.
